Solar Energy Enterprises designed and installed an 808kW system across the Rutherford rooftop: 1,456 panels generating 1,160 MWh a year, on site, where the manufacturing load is. Every megawatt-hour made on the roof is one not bought from the grid, and the saving lands on the operating line each year the system runs.
Built around the manufacturing, not the other way round
Animal health manufacturing doesn't pause for an energy transition. The system was engineered around the Rutherford site's production load. A portion of the facility's consumption now comes from the roof with output and reliability untouched. Part of the global Zoetis animal health family, the site's energy now works as hard as it does.
